Vinegar Hill Veterinary Group has partnered with two fantastic pet travel companies to help ensure pets make it successfully to your desired destination:
Pawsitive Pet Health Certificates Petrelocation
If you would like our USDA accredited veterinarians to provide you with any necessary travel paperwork, the first step is a consultation with one of these two companies. Once you have spoken to their specialists and established a plan for the travel requirements, please contact us to schedule any needed appointments. Please note that we will not provide any guidance or paperwork for travel needs unless done so in consultation with one of these two companies.
Travel costs:
Travel with pets is an expensive endeavor. If utilizing our services for your pets’ travel, you will need to plan for the following expenses:
Payment directly to one of our pet travel agency partners for consultation and preparation of all travel requirements. Please reach out to Pawsitive Pet Health Certificates and/or Petrelocation.com directly for estimates for these services.
Payment directly to Vinegar Hill Veterinary Group for procurement of all required treatments, tests, evaluations, and paperwork for travel. As these vary widely from case to case, please contact us directly for an estimate once the pet travel agency lets you know what is required. Please note that all pets will require at a minimum: an examination/consultation ($125) and the submission of a health certificate to the Veterinary Export Health Certificate System ($400). These fees are separate from the fees charged by the pet travel companies, and reflect our veterinarians’ expertise and accreditation that allow them to properly evaluate your pet and be trusted partners of the USDA to safely assist in the international transport of pets.
Please be prepared for all of these expenses when planning for your pets’ travel.
